The Interview

There are many factors that need to be taken into consideration when changing your career direction. Remember that your consultant is involved in the job market daily – this gives them an exceptional pool of information.

The purpose of the interview is for us to assess your skills, your technical and personal strengths, and your personality in a wider context. On occasions where it is impractical to meet you in person, we will conduct a telephone interview at a mutually convenient time.

Your CV

Many professionals have a problem refining their resumes to illustrate the key aspects of their career and experience. Elite Selection will work with you to produce a highly effective resume. It is important for us to emphasise your key marketable skills.

We introduce candidates into the market every day of the week, and regularly sound out our key clients regarding the effectiveness of candidate resumes.

Initial Marketing

Towards the end of your first meeting your consultant will tailor a marketing strategy for you. The primary consideration is to forward your details to targeted companies with relevant vacancies. We can also contact a list of firms that you are interested in working for, but where there are currently no vacancies.

Feedback after interviews

It is imperative that you provide your consultant with feedback as soon as possible after an interview with a client. There may be questions that arise from the meeting, or even a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of statements at the meeting that may need resolving. Your consultant can resolve any issues that may arise.
