Our blue-chip client, a diversified Australian industrial organisation with interests in rail, contract mining and civil engineering, with a workforce exceeding 24,000, and annual revenues of over $A5.5 billion, is currently seeking an astute Management Accountant for it’s mining Division subsidiary.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the management and ongoing development of the office administration and management reporting functions, including but not limited to:

• Management Reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Implementation of Company Policies, Procedures and Resource Requirements
• Review and Implementation of Internal Accounting and Business Controls
• Internal Audit and Staff Supervision
• Management of Accounts Payable and Inventory


To be successful in this role, good communication and team skills are essential, as is an attention to detail. You will have a proactive approach to work and demonstrate a willingness to have a “hands-on” approach.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will ideally have approximately three to five years experience in a management accounting role within a sales and/ or manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills coupled with sound task orientation will be required if you are to succeed in this challenging role.
