Our Client, a well established engineering company that has been in operation for over 25 years, has an exciting opportunity for and experienced Payroll officer for their friendly team based in North of the River.

With a workforce of 1300 and winning numerous industry awards annually, the company’s success is due to the skill and dedication of its workforce. The organisation is actively involved in training and up-skilling their employees – especially new starters. They have a team of dedicated training personnel who are always looking to improve employees’ skills.

Reporting directly to the Company Accountant this is a diverse role which will certainly keep you challenged. Your list of duties will be as follows:

? Entry and supervision of all time and attendance sheets
? Calculation, accrual & payment of Sick leave, LSL, Workers Compensation, Annual payments, & Termination payments
? Fortnightly calculation of Australia wide payroll - Full time, part time and casual
? Tax calculation and preparation (PAYG)
? Calculation & payment of Superannuation
? Calculation of Payroll Taxes
? Preparation of all employment contracts
? Updating all employee personnel files
? Contractors Payments

This is a busy role with lots of variety. To be considered it is envisaged that you have a minimum of 2 years payroll experience. Candidates that have experience with Chris21 are strongly encouraged to apply. It addition to the above it is prerequisite that you are a motivated self starter with strong interpersonal skills.
