Our Client, an ASX listed manufacturing organisation that have been established since early 1900, has a truly exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Management Accountant.

Based in Belmont, this challenging position reports directly to the Financial Controller. The primary purpose of the role is to provide management and financial accounting services to meet Divisional and Corporate requirements.

In addition, the Management Accountant will effectively meet the business growth strategy through improving the overall performance of the accounting systems, processes and output. The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Preparation of the Divisional Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet, including analysis of variances to Budget and Forecast
Accuracy and Timeliness of management accounts that fulfil business unit & Corporate Office requirements.
Co-ordination & completion of the month end process
General Ledger reconciliations
Maintenance of the Asset Register
Monitor and control intercompany loan accounts
Cash flow forecasting
Participate in monthly stock takes
Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget
Process improvement
Development of management reports and KPI’s

To be considered for this great opportunity you will have 3-5 years experience and be studying towards your CPA/CA qualification. Candidates that have experience within a manufacturing environment are strongly encouraged to apply and will be held in high regard.
