Our Client, a well established multi-disciplined Engineering, Construction and Maintenance group servicing the resources and energy sectors in Australia, South East Asia and Africa has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll officer.

With a workforce of 11,000 personnel through Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom, the company has a reputation for responsiveness, professionalism and putting in the hard work to ensure the successful execution of challenging projects for their clients.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager this is a diverse role which will certainly keep you challenged. Your list of duties will be as follows:

Entry and supervision of all time sheets including job costing and variation calculations
Weekly/ Fortnightly calculation of payroll - Full time, part time, Off-shore & International contractors
Calculation, accrual & payment of Sick leave, Construction LSL, Workers Compensation, Annual payments & Termination payments
Preparation of all employment contracts
Updating all employee personnel files

This is a busy role with lots of variety and complexity. To be considered it is envisaged that you have a minimum of 2 years payroll experience within the Engineering or Construction industries. Candidates that have experience with Timberline or other large ERP systems are strongly encouraged to apply. In addition, it is a prerequisite that you are a motivated self starter with strong interpersonal skills and very strong attention to detail.
