Our Client, a leading resources company has a truly exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant for their busy office based closed to the city.

This exciting opportunity reports directly to the Financial Controller. Your list of duties will be as follows:

Responsible for all aspects of accounting, reporting and analysis
Providing a dedicated resource to assist in tracking ongoing project costs, responsible for the cost control and management reporting
Responsible for the delivery of financial management information on projects and ensuring proper corporate and financial governance regarding the group’s capital expenditure
Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L reports
Budget/Forecasting & Analysis
Enhance & maintain the integrity of accounting systems and controls
Providing support and supervision to the existing accounting staff and development of management reporting tools

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will be either CA or CPA Qualified with 5 years experience within a similar medium to large organisation. In addition you will have a resources, mining and/or contracting sector background coupled with experience utilising an ERP system such as Pronto or similar.
