Our Client, one of Australia’s leading civil and mining contractor companies has an excellent opportunity for a Cost Accountant for their purpose built facility based in Mandurah.

Since its inception the company has developed a reputation for professionalism and reliability. This organisation has grown into a group that employs almost 2,000 people operating a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will contribute to the team’s success by providing critical accounting support to all areas of the business.

Key responsibilities
• Inventory valuation
• Develop and maintain procedures
• Carry out Activity Based Costing
• Preparation of forecasts / budgets
• Preparation of monthly business unit and corporate reports
• Assisting the Management Accountant where required

To be considerer for this great opportunity you will posses the following:

• A minimum of 2 -3 years experience in a similar role who
• Experience using Activity Based Costing
• Excellent communications skills
• Highly proficient with MS Excel
• Degree qualified - CA/CPA preferable
