Payroll Officer - Resource Sector - Pronto

Our Client, a well established multi-disciplined Engineering, Construction and Maintenance group servicing the resources and energy sectors in Australia, South East Asia and Africa has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll officer for their friendly team based just outside the City.

Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a diverse role which will certainly keep you challenged. Your list of duties will be as follows:

? Recent experience and knowledge of site agreements and penalty rates
? Entry and supervision of all time sheets including job costing and variation calculations
? Weekly/ Fortnightly calculation of payroll - Full time, part time, Off-shore & International contractors
? Calculation, accrual & payment of Sick leave, Construction LSL, Workers Compensation, Annual payments & Termination payments
? Preparation of all employment contracts
? Updating all employee personnel files

This is a busy role with lots of variety and complexity. To be considered it is envisaged that you have a minimum of 4 years payroll experience within the Resources or Construction industries. Candidates that have experience with Pronto or other large ERP systems are strongly encouraged to apply. In addition, it is a prerequisite that you are a motivated self starter with strong interpersonal skills and very strong attention to detail.
