Our client, a Subiaco based mid-tier Practice offering accounting, tax and business advisory services to a diverse SME client base seeks a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic accounting Senior with good attention to detail, to:

• Supervise the preparation of financial statements, FBT, BAS, GST and income tax returns by accountants and review them
• Undertake tax planning in liaison with Partner
• Monitor compliance, reporting and lodgement dates
• Assist Partner with management accounting on behalf of clients
• Liaise confidently with clients, the Australian Taxation Office and other regulatory bodies
• Assist other team members, as required.

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• 5+ years in a Professional Practice
• Excellent attention to detail
• Completed CA or CPA program
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Superior interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• Superior self awareness and empathy
• A positive and friendly attitude
• Extensive experience with Solution 6 and MYOB
