Our client, an iconic blue-chip Australian company, with diverse operating business interests has a truly exciting opportunity for a Taxation Accountant for their Corporate Division based near the CBD.

Reporting to the Senior Tax Accountant, the purpose of this challenging role is to perform duties as follows:

• Preparation of Group and Subsidiary Activity Statements

• Preparation of Payroll tax returns

• Tax effect accounting preparation

• Assistance with FBT returns

• Assist with technical research

• Assist with Group accounting function


To be considered for this fantastic role you will need to be degree qualified in accounting or finance and near completion of CA/CPA qualification.

Whilst a sound knowledge of taxation principles and concepts is integral to his role, ideally you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in taxation with some exposure in accounting.

A high level of attention to detail coupled with a conscientious work ethic will stand you in great stead for this challenging role. In addition, it is imperative that you have well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
