Our Client, an ASX listed company with offices nationally, has an exciting opening for an Accounts Receivable officer to play a key role within their busy finance function.

Based in the city, this organisation’s aim is to be the best in its field. Servicing both the public and private sectors, many of this organisation’s clients are household names and include major listed national and international companies.

Working as part of a team, and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the purpose of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of the accounts receivable function including preparing, authorising, issuing and filing of customer invoices. In addition you will also complete customer reconciliations and reports. Your full list of duties will be as follows:

• Prepare, authorise, track, issue and file all customer invoices of timesheets and associated reimbursable expenses
• Raise credit transactions and invoices when required
• Maintain both customer and project databases
• Liaise with both internal and external customer queries and provide follow up action / information as required
• Prepare invoice reconciliations against project budgets
• Prepare monthly invoice registers for all group of companies
• Prepare nightly reporting of invoice status during monthly invoice cycle
• Reconciling all reimbursable time and expenses against the company database have been invoiced
• Weekly reconciling of company records to customer reports and advising the customer of any discrepancies
• Prepare weekly aged debtor reports for the group

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need to have previous exposure in an accounts receivable environment and have intermediate skills with excel and word. A high level of attention to detail coupled with a conscientious work ethic will stand you in great stead for this challenging role.

Previous exposure to a major ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards or Pronto will be held in high regard.
