Our Client, an ASX listed manufacturing organisation has a truly exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Accountant.

Based North of Perth, this challenging position reports directly to the Financial Controller. The primary purpose of the role is to provide management and financial accounting services to meet Divisional and Corporate requirements.

In addition the Senior Accountant will effectively meet the business growth strategy through improving the overall implementation and performance of the accounting systems, processes and output. The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Consolidation and preparation of Divisional Profit and Loss Accounts and Balance Sheet, including analysis of variances to Budget and Forecast
Accuracy and Timeliness of management accounts
Co-ordination & completion of EOM
General Ledger reconciliations
Budget/Forecasting & Analysis
Monitor and control inter-company accounts
Inventory Stock Costing
Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will be either CA/CPA/ CIMA qualified with 4-5 years experience within a medium to large manufacturing or resource environment.

Candidates with experience in large ERP systems such as SAP, Pronto, Oracle or similar along with data analysis tools such as Hyperion, Cognos or similar are strongly encouraged to apply and will be held in high regard.
