Payroll Officer - Mining Giant

Our Client, a leading international mining company located across five continents, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced payroll officer for their friendly team based in the City.

This fantastic opportunity reports directly to the Supervisor of Shared Services. The primary objective of this challenging position is to complete the payroll on a timely basis using Oracle and deal with associated payroll functions. Your primary duties will be as follows:

Process and manage the payroll of the business in an efficient manner
Ensure employees are remunerated in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure Payroll and associated costs are recorded and allocated accurately
Maintain employee files
Ensure leave entitlements are recorded and maintained
Ensure all employees receive the benefits and allowances
Process and manage the taxes and associated payroll costs
Process payroll and associated payroll costs to the general ledger.

To be considered for this brilliant opportunity it is envisaged that you have two to three years payroll experience. Candidates with exposure to Oracle will be held in high regard, however candidates with a Knowledge of Pronto, JDE, SAP or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.

This role requires good written and communication skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
