Our Client, an ASX 200 listed multinational company specialising in the manufacturing of industrial products to the resources, rail and power industries has an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Plant Management Accountant.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and the Manufacturing Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to prepare accurate and timely management information and to add value through the provision of analysis and sound commercial advice in order to optimise and improve existing operations and business goals.

In addition you will be expected to carry out the following duties in a timely and efficient manner:

• Management Reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Weekly and Monthly Variance and Cost analysis
• Utilisation/ Efficiency trend analysis
• Capex and Opex
• Inventory Management

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will either be CA or CPA part/ qualified with 3-5 years experience within a similar medium to large organisation.
In addition you will have a strong business acumen founded on:

• Excellent commercial analysis skills
• Practical knowledge of costing (Standard, Process and/ or Job)
• Working knowledge of Purchasing/ Supply/ Inventory controls
• Experience utilising an ERP system such as SAP, Pronto or Oracle or similar
