Our Client, an international mining organisation who are set to develop an Iron Ore Project in the mineral rich Pilbara region of Western Australia, is currently seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join its growing Finance team.

 

As Business Analyst, you will provide expert business analysis and reporting support to assist in the development of the company and the Iron Ore Project into a sustainable business. You will also assist in the implementation of business analysis systems which will preserve control and add value.

 

Accountabilities:

 

       Establish and maintain the project’s long term financial model, including assisting the management team with ad-hoc business option analyses

       Establish and maintain the project’s budget models, including cash flow forecasts

       Coordination of the project business planning process so as to comply with the business requirements

 

The successful applicant for this unique opportunity will possess:

 

       Appropriate qualification in Commerce or Economics

       Member of Recognised Professional Accounting body

       At least 5 years relevant experience including business analysis and management accounting experience, preferably in a resources/manufacturing environment

       Relevant financial modelling experience

       Proven ability in a similar role with large scale projects
