Our Client, a well-respected ASX listed industrial services company established for over 100 years, has an exciting opportunity for a collections officer for their busy office based in Canning Vale.

This West Australian Icon is a leader in its exciting and demanding sector and continues to build on its excellent reputation with premium brands. Offering excellent support and benefits to its employees, this organisation is highly respected within their industry.

Working within a collections team of six this challenging role reports to the credit control team leader. This traditional collections role will require you to contact clients to chase for payment and negotiate payment terms. Your duties will be as follows:

Ensure appropriate collection and processing activities to maintain customer credit accounts within the terms of trade.
Deal with specific issues that may arise that are preventing payment.
Obtain commitments for payment then diarise and follow up
Submit delinquent accounts to management and ensure appropriate measures are taken where unacceptable arrears are detected.

It is envisaged that you hold excellent interpersonal skills and have a minimum of 2 years experience in accounts; alternatively you may have a background in customer service and are looking for a career change.
